Transalpine Redemptorists and the Purgatorian Archconfraternity Note: Catholic Family News Editor John Vennari interviews Father Michael Mary, founder and superior of the Transalpine Redemptorists, about the religious community and the re-establishment of the Puragatorian Archconfraternity. J. Vennari: Father Michael Mary when did you become a Redemptorist? Father Michael Mary: At the age of seventeen I entered the Redemptorists and was professed at the end of my novitiate in 1972. I did the course of studies provided by the province to which I belonged and was duly ordained a Redemptorist priest in August 1978. After that time I preached missions and was also attached to the Ukrainian Byzantine rite. J. Vennari: How were the Transalpine Redemptorists founded? Father Michael Mary: In March 1987 I arrived at Econe in Switzerland, having been sent to meet Archbishop Lefebvre by a priest of the Society of St. Pius X. I had been studying the important subject of the New and Old Mass since …ఇంకా
Fatima Keeps Rupnik Mosaic The Marian shrine of Fátima, Portugal, does not plan to remove or cover its massive Rupnik mosaic. Last year, the Fátima shrine issued a statement saying that it would not remove the mosaic. The Substack.com-Account The Pillar (September 18) contacted the Fátima shrine again after Rupnik’s mosaics at Lourdes were covered and “was told there is no update to the shrine’s stance.” There is the prospect of a papal visit to Fátima next year. Rupnik is facing a canonical trial at the Vatican over credible accusations that he sexually, spiritually, and psychologically abused numerous women. His art, with its big black eyes and characteristic asymmetry, mirrors a warped mind. Bishop Virgílio Antunes, president of the Portuguese bishops’ conference and chairman of the National Council of the Fátima Shrine, acknowledged that “one cannot separate the artwork from the context and the circumstances in which it was created.” BUT: Neither he nor the bishops’ conference “…ఇంకా
Swedish news was filming a report in Ukraine and was interrupted by a guy running from mobilization. Earlier the same Swedish news was reporting in Ukraine and one of their team members got mobilized. The Swedish news has a hard time pretending all is fine in Ukraine. The more the US and Europe try to hide the crimes of Ukraine, the more they are exposed. Live on TV!
Cardinal Pietro Parolin: “Russia should not be isolated.” Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a conference in Rome on September 16, the Vatican Secretary of State reiterated the Holy See’s case for maintaining direct channels with Moscow as the war in Ukraine continues. “Russia should not be isolated,” Cardinal Parolin said according to VaticanNews.va. He argued that some form of channel must be maintained “where people can talk to one another”. Cardinal Parolin admitted that the results of Vatican diplomacy so far have been “rather limited”. Nevertheless, Vatican diplomacy will “continue on our path.” He also confirmed that Cardinal Matteo Zuppi’s humanitarian mission concerning Ukraine will continue, including returning to Moscow this September. #newsSnfkpmtoau
Jane Allen was suffering from anorexia. She traveled to Colorado seeking treatment. Instead, her doctor offered assisted suicide — a prescription for death. Her father intervened just in time. Jane began to heal — eating again, tapering off morphine. The anorexia clinic dropped her, calling her a “liability.” When Jane chose life, her doctors walked away. Assisted suicide isn’t healthcare. It’s preying on the sick and vulnerable.
Yes, communism which NON Russians brought to the people and killed tens of millions of CATHOLICS AND ORTHODOX. Some people ought to take out all the hate from their hearts and their lying and get rid of the ignorance they speak. What was Sister Lucia concerned about? communism. What does the Church teach? communism is a sin and evil. Who did the Saintly Popes reach out to? The Russian Orthodox. Who did the Russian Orthodox reach out to? Saintly Popes. As the Church has said, taught and shown for centuries.
French military chaplain Romain Ghandou has sparked a political storm, with a prominent left-wing politician calling for his imprisonment. The video is from a 7 Oct 2025 Mass at Carcassonne Cathedral, before soldiers of the 3rd Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment (3e RPIMa). “Calm down, leftists! Breathe through your nose,” Ghandou said, drawing laughter and applause. He attacked “liars,” “incompetents” and those who “lecture everyone.” He urged soldiers to “keep fighting” and have “the courage of your convictions,” warning that otherwise France would be ridiculed and “others will take our place.” Le Canard enchaîné publicised the footage Friday, sparking outrage on the left. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), alleged “racist insults” and said: “His place is in prison.” Le Canard linked the sermon to the “Great Replacement,” though Ghandou does not use that phrase in the published excerpt.

Fides Et Ratio That's is all true. So many women (mostly) are involved in Occult. It doesn't matter who they are and what age. It's an 'epidemics'. They are from all walks of life; often you meet nice people just to find out that they try to cast the spells on you and get some access points to you or your home. St. Benedict Medal blessed with the special long blessings, blessed bells to clear the air, and above all being in the state of grace protect against their magicka.
Hiroshima must remain forever in humanity's memory as a warning, not a precedent. Behind that explosion lay lives, families, dreams, and generations scarred by a pain that should never be repeated. No conflict, ideology, or pursuit of power can justify such a tragedy. May the memory of Hiroshima help us understand that, given our capacity for self-destruction, peace, dialogue, and reason are not merely options—they are a responsibility we owe to humanity and to generations yet to come. Never again a nuclear war.
The Redemption of Man and the Rejection of “Holy Sex” A Patristic and Scholastic Disputation Against the Modern Exaltation of Carnal Pleasure “The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit.” —1 Corinthians 15:45 Prologue: The Question Before Us There is a fundamental question which must be asked before we speak of the holiness of sexual pleasure: What is man? And immediately after that: What became of man through the Fall? For if we begin with fallen man as though his present condition were the standard of human nature, we shall inevitably mistake the wounds of the Fall for the original design of God. This is precisely the danger in the modern exaltation of sexuality. The question is no longer merely: "Is marital intercourse lawful?" The Catholic tradition already answers that question. The more profound question is: "What ought the Christian to desire within the marital act?" And here a profound difference appears between the ascetical tradition …ఇంకా

Bishop Mutsaerts attacks “angry” Catholic blogs. Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts — one of the better bishops, who survived a car accident in June — has launched a polemical attack on Catholics who dominate online discourse. “One can eventually spend so much time fighting modernism that Christ becomes almost incidental,” Mutsaerts writes in a lengthy article on his blog on September 16. “One can read every day about everything going wrong in Rome and barely open the Gospel. One can receive news of the latest disaster in a dicastery on Facebook within ten minutes and have no idea which saint is commemorated that day.” “That is not a victory for tradition. It is spiritual distraction.” Mutsaerts continues: “Read more Augustine than ecclesiastical Twitter. Read more Benedict XVI than angry blogs. Spend longer praying for your bishop than complaining about him.” Elsewhere, he alleges that Catholics preoccupied with Church politics may not even know the Catechism: “A Catholic who does …ఇంకా
Dan Dicks Shannon Holmes is a movement therapist who used to help people with physiotherapy before she took the Covid vaccine. After the shot her legs began tingling and vibrating and she knew something was terribly wrong. After seeking medical help the doctor said she’s a “giant medical question mark” she was then told to just go home. Her pain started getting worse, spreading throughout her entire body. That evening she felt like she was being electrocuted. The video shows how she felt like she was being uncontrollably “pulled” She is in constant pain now, it’s been 5 years and there’s no end in sight. The Canadian government and health authorities have done absolutely nothing to help her. Please share her story!! facebook.com/…o-help-people-with-physiotherap/101…
Shannon is sadly not the only one who is suffering and too many have died from the experimental shot.. Canada’s former PM Justin Trudeau kept telling Canadians the vaccine was safe and effective. He lied. The recent Allison Inquity about vaccine injury heard some 50 testimonies. The MSM did not cover the story. Every Canadian, and person of goodwill, should …
Leo XIV’s Prayer Intention Is … for the Care of Water: In September 2026, Leo XIV invites Catholics around the world to pray for the care of water. In his monthly prayer intention, he reminds Christians that access to clean water should be a right. “We beg forgiveness that it has been turned into a commodity, forgetting that it is a universal gift, a right without borders.” He encourages Christians to reject waste and pollution and to use natural resources responsibly. Caring for water, he says, is both an expression of love for creation and an act of solidarity with the poor.
The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of September is to pray for care of water: “Lord of Life, you have given us the gift of water, source of fruitfulness, freshness, and hope. It quenches thirst, nourishes the earth, and heals wounds. We thank you because it is also a symbol of your grace and love that renews us through baptism. Today, we ask you to teach us to safeguard it with gratitude, justice, and responsibility. Forgive us for turning it into a commodity, forgetting that it is a universal gift, a right without borders, meant for all your children. We see with pain, so many brothers and sisters, who lack clean water, who walk for miles to find it, who become ill due to its scarcity. May your Spirit make us pilgrims of the essential, able to live with simplicity, denouncing waste and pollution, defending the right of every brother and sister to drink without fear and without inequality. May our care for water, be a sign of love for the Creator, and a commitment to the lives of …ఇంకా

Bishop Strickland's answer to A "Journey of Hope: Sixty Years of Interreligious Dialogue and Fraternity in the Light of the Conciliar Declaration Nostra Aetate.” A Pastoral Letter on Interreligious Dialogue and the Church’s Missionary Mandate On September 16, 2026, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, and the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue published the note, “A Journey of Hope: Sixty Years of Interreligious Dialogue and Fraternity in the Light of the Conciliar Declaration Nostra Aetate.” The document contains much that every Catholic should affirm. It condemns religious violence, antisemitism, coercion, hatred, contempt, and violations of religious freedom. It recalls that every person possesses an inviolable dignity because every person is created in the image of God. It affirms the importance of peaceful relations among peoples and insists that interreligious dialogue must not descend into relativism or syncretism. The note …ఇంకా
Pub Meeting (!) and FSSPX Mass Prompt Minnesota Bishop’s Warning Bishop Patrick Neary of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, issued a diocesan warning against the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) after an unauthorized Mass was celebrated in the diocese. In a letter dated September 2, Bishop Neary said he had learned of a social-media post promoting a meeting at the restaurant Opole Pub to “explore bringing the Latin Mass” to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Opole. The same post advertised a Latin Mass for the following day at the Opole Ballpark Pavilion, part of the local baseball grounds. Monsignor Neary wrote that neither event was sanctioned by the diocese. Both, he said, involved a priest of the FSSPX — “a group recently declared by the Holy See to be in schism with the Catholic Church because of the illicit ordination of four bishops without a papal mandate.” The bishop told Catholics not to “support or participate in FSSPX-sponsored activities, including inviting FSSPX priests to …ఇంకా
