Private Masses During Spain's "Chartres" Pilgrimage: The picture shows the private Masses in the Roman Rite celebrated simultaneously by the priests attending the Pilgrimage to Covadonga, Spain last weekend. Nearly 2,000 pilgrims - mostly young people and families with children - took part in it. At the conclusion of the pilgrimage, permission was not granted to celebrate Mass in the Basilica of Covadonga. Instead, the pilgrims gathered to sing the Te Deum.
